I sewed a boxy shift midi length dress cut AGAINST the grain of fabric since it's an all over print (which gave me more usable leftover fabric). I used the full fabric width for the length of my dress.

I sewed a boat neck ruffle cap sleeves midi length shift dress. Since it's an all over print, I cut the dress pattern AGAINST the grain which gave me a bigger usable leftover panel. I'm not really a ruffles kind of gal, but the ruffles on the sleeves turned out really nice!
